Made from solid, dark oak, this buffet draws on the forms of the French Renaissance of the 16th century. The door panels feature detailed, three-dimensional reliefs, often depicting floral motifs, scrolling foliage, or antique vase shapes. The upper frieze is decorated with a continuous egg-and-dart or rope pattern. The sides feature striking, fully sculpted baluster columns with fine fluting. The two upper drawers have subtle, original drop handles made of brass or bronze. The upper section provides enclosed storage with two drawers and two cabinet doors. The lower section is designed as an open, deep shelving compartment. The piece stands on delicate, turned feet.

Inspection and incoming inspection
Each piece of furniture is checked for authenticity, material quality and signs of wear. We decide which measures are necessary to preserve the original value. The goal is to put a piece of furniture on sale at the end of the restoration that is almost as good as new.
Cleaning
All furniture is thoroughly and gently cleaned. Wood, fabric and leather are treated taking into account the specific characteristics of the material. For this, we use high-quality cleaning agents.
Professional processing
Experienced workers sand and varnish all pieces of furniture inside and out, check screws, and replace hinges or keyholes. Shelves are cleaned, flaws in the wood grain are repaired, and missing parts are added. Damages are professionally fixed, upholstered furniture is reupholstered, and newer pieces are cleaned with a wet vacuum cleaner.
Finishing and final inspection
In the final step, a careful surface treatment is carried out (e.g. oiling, polishing, sealing). After that, each piece of furniture is checked again before it goes on sale.
